Beginning Piecing Class With Pot Holders
What:
We are going to be learning to piece, as in quilt piecing. But we are going to do it a
block at a time, making potholders. These can be used as gifts or used in your
kitchen. This is a skill building set of classes. Two a month. We will pick 2 blocks
from the book each month. (You can save the blocks and make a quilted item later)
Class cost: $10.00 per class

Book needed: Year of 52 Potholders. Available at A-1 $15.00
Fabric Scraps- in your preferred colors or a couple of fat quarters.
Sewing Machine- Foot Feed, Power Cord
1/4” Presser Foot
Thread and filled Bobbin (1 or 2)
Thread for topstitching
Self Healing Mat and Rotary Cutter and new Blade
12” or 24” Clear Acrylic Ruler
9” or 10” Square Clear Acrylic Ruler
Small/Mini Iron and Wool /Reflective Ironing Mat
Tailor's Clapper, if you have one
Small scissors or thread snips
Sewing pins or clips
Water Soluble pen (not Frixion, not Air-Erase)
2” Triangle Paper (Ask in the store)
